Overview of FRC
First Robotics Competition, or FRC, is a robotics competition for high school students.
Each year, a game is released, and teams of students have 8-10 weeks to design, build, test, wire, and program a robot for that game.
Outside of the Competition
Outside of the competition, teams are encouraged to make an impact on their community, and introduce STEM to the younger generation.
Teams also have to fundraiser for their competition. The methods for this vary wildly. Many teams rely on sponsorships from large companies, while others do various jobs to raise money.
